Description
You are about to bid on a NEAR MINT copy of a Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs ULTRADISC II reproduction of PINK FLOYD's ATOM HEART MOTHER from the original master tapes in a LIFTLOCK CD CASE. The CD has no visible scratches on either side when held up to a bright light. Mobile Fidelity remasters the original studio tapes at half speed and controls the quality so no sounds are lost in the translation, like generic store bought LP's and CD's. This isn't just the regular, run of the mill MFSL version, either, it INCLUDES THE ORIGINAL "J CARD" THAT IT CAME WITH, NEW, also in near mint condition, with no visible defects. These "J Cards" seem to be more rare than the rarest of sealed MFSL CD's, most of which don't have "J Cards". "ORIGINAL MASTER RECORDING" is the ONLY wording on the front insert. The back of the "J Card" and CD case list the songs on the CD and the "J Card" also describes the "Ultradisc II" Listening Experience. See the photos for a visual. The front liner notes are near mint with no bent or damaged corners, just a small surface mark due to the cd case bump that keeps the liner notes from falling out(I've never seen a copy without this slight damage, even sealed copies). The resealable cellophane wrapper the CD is in is not shrink wrap, so I can't call it Mint, but otherwise this CD resembles an unopened copy in ALL other respects. I only ever listened to it once and took it out momentarily to inspect for this auction. UDCD 595 Bar code = 0-15775-15952-5 Made in USA. Although not a sealed copy, you'd swear you just broke the seal when you get this home. You won't find a more pristine copy of this (unsealed, and maybe even sealed) CD anywhere. Note: I used a second, personal copy in some of the photos to show features without having to handle the copy for sale in this auction, too much(the second copy is not part of this auction, but is the copy offered for free in a "Buy it Now" option for another auction. Use "Buy It Now" and get a free, near mint copy of MFSL Dark Side of the Moon LP. The Vinyl is near mint with no viible scratches and the gatefold cover is average with a seam split and a decent amount of shelf wear(but if you have a good sleeve and need to replace a poor vinyl, this is the way to go.) $9.99 shipping/handling, which includes insurance, within the continental US ONLY. It will be packaged with all the care you'd expect for a CD of this quality. Paypal accepted.
